Aimee Lane has a great website at itsoverflowing.com.  I found it a few days ago.  We are so similar!!  Married 10 years +, three kids, recently bought a fixer-upper 50 + year-old home.  LOVE IT!  She is thinking about a similar decorating problem that I have: sliding closet doors:
