The Demi Lamp, developed by Mattias Stenberg for Style Home Stockholm, is each a sculpture and an ambient light supply, also combining classic glass art with contemporary lighting technologies. The warmly diffused illumination from the inside highlights the structure of the mouth-blown glass. The handmade glass is formed in Design and style Property Stockholm’s own glassworks ‘Vet Hut’ located in the tiny village of Boda, which is also the heart of the Swedish glass sector. Inside, an aluminum ring connects the two parts and has a row of LEDs directed towards the middle of the lamp, making it seem as if the lamp is glowing.
The Demi Lamp comes in a small and a big version and 4 distinct colors – clear/clear, white/clear, green/clear, and green/green.
